Just like you, we are divers. We live for exploration and finding new caves and wrecks. Modifying our lights was born from needing brighter, longer burning, and more dependable lights for exploration. What was and is available on the market did not fit our needs so we set off to create something ourselves to do the job.

Our intention was to make something that worked for us. After some trial and a bit of error we had it working. When other divers got a look at what we were diving the same question was repeatedly asked of us. Where could they get our lights? With the answer that we made it ourselves. After a couple of years improving our design and modifying a few lights for close friends the requests started to increase. So we decided to create Underwater Light Dude to make our modified lights available to all divers.

We are still diving and working on how to make our lights better. We have video lights with more than twice the light output of anyone else in a smaller self contained package. Our primary light upgrades give incredible light output with solid burn times, and rock solid (pun intended) dependability.
